MANCHESTER, N.H. — Sen. Ted Cruz has raised $3 million since the Iowa caucuses and $10 million since the beginning of January, his campaign manager announced on Thursday.
Jeff Roe wrote on Twitter that Cruz had received 182,000 contributions since January 1, averaging $55 per donation.
The fundraising rush is only likely to expand Cruz’s cash lead in the GOP race. He ended 2015 with $18.7 million, more than $8 million more than his closest competitor, Sen. Marco Rubio.
