Ari Fleischer, who served as a spokesman to former President George W. Bush, said President Trump needs to “stop talking” until the special prosecutor’s investigation into ties between Russia and the Trump campaign is over.
Fleischer tweeted Sunday that Trump is “heading into a giant perjury trap” by speaking publicly about the investigation and declaring himself vindicated by former FBI Director James Comey’s testimony.
“Advice 4 POTUS: You have not been vindicated. U won’t be unless Bob Mueller says so. Stop talking. You’re heading into a giant perjury trap,” Fleischer tweeted.

Trump tweeted Sunday morning that he believes the memos Comey leaked to the media would be “far more prevalent than anyone ever thought possible” and called the move “very cowardly.”
