Former Rep. John Dingell, whose nearly 60-year tenure in the House made him the longest-serving member of Congress, died Thursday at the age of 92.
The Michigan Democrat had entered hospice care earlier this week, his wife, Rep. Debbie Dingell, D-Mich., tweeted. She confirmed his death to the Detroit News.
