George Conway on Sunday mocked White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders by asking her to “fix” a tweet declaring complete exoneration for President Trump.

“You misspelled ‘While this report does not conclude that the President committed a crime, it also does not exonerate him.’ Pls fix. Thx,” the lawyer and husband of White House counselor Kellyanne Conway tweeted.

After Attorney General William Barr sent a letter to Congress summarizing the top-level conclusions of special counsel Robert Mueller’s report into potential collusion between Trump’s 2016 campaign and Russia, Sanders released a statement declaring it a victory for the White House.

“The Special Counsel did not find any collusion and did not find any obstruction. AG Barr and [Deputy Attorney General Rod] Rosenstein further determined there was no obstruction,” Sanders said.

……..

Barr’s summary of Mueller’s report said the special counsel concluded that no one in the “Trump campaign or anyone associated with it conspired or coordinated” with Russia to interfere in the 2016 election.

However, the report did not make a final determination on whether or not Trump had obstructed justice.

Barr’s letter said the report “sets out evidence on both sides of the question and leaves unresolved what the Special Counsel views as ‘difficult issues’ of law and fact concerning whether the President’s actions and intent could be viewed as obstruction.”

Barr and Rosenstein said there was insufficient evidence to pursue charges against Trump.

“The findings of the Department of Justice are a total and complete exoneration of the President of the United States.”

I think it wasnt that there was no collusion. It’s just that collusion couldn’t be proven.

There is still that obstruction of justice. I expect though that despite this report, Trump’s troubles are not over. He has plenty more skeletons in his closet that are going to be sniffed out. This report will inspire still more investigations and legal proceedings. There are plenty of people out there determined to get rid of him one way or the other.
