Glenn Beck Responds to South Carolina Primary Results: ‘Join Me’ in a ‘Fast for Ted Cruz’

“I would like to ask you to join me and my family Monday in a fast for Ted Cruz, our country and the Nevada caucus,” Beck wrote on his Facebook page after the South Carolina election results showed a decisive double-digit victory for Trump, whose candidacy Beck has been staunchly opposed to.

Beck also stated that “if the country is lost, it will be lost because of the Christians” who did not support Cruz.
“There will be no one else to blame,” he added. “You can’t blame the progressives. You can’t blame the left. You can’t blame Hillary Clinton. You can’t blame anyone else but the Christians who are not living and voting their principles.”

I cannot believe, after all that we saw about Trump this past week alone, all his Marxist/socialist ways were exposed, his denigration of the military, his lies….constant lies, that ANYBODY could vote for him. Are these really republicans? Maybe these are the GOPe, and now they have 2 candidates to pave the way for them. I am disgusted, but maybe we need to be looking at this with different eyes, altogether. Maybe this really IS the true spiritual situation…lukewarm christianity, not caring about anything but winning…at any cost. Even if our doom.

Been fasting today. I rescheduled my lunch date with a friend for tomorrow! I also fasted from reading ANY media the day of the IOWA caucus, waiting until just before I went to bed to get the results. That actually helped me to not be so anxious! Whatever it is, it is. Pray for the next one!
