The nation awoke this morning to news of the worst mass shooting in U.S. history.
AP reporting at least 50 dead, and at least another 200 wounded.
Fox News reporting the following details:
Gunman is 64-year old Stephen Paddock. He opened fire from a room on the 32nd floor of the Mandalay Bay, and he was dead when police arrived.
The gunman’s 62-year old roommate/female companion, Marilou Danley, has been detained as a “person of interest.”
Suspect was known to local authorities.
Gunman had as many as 8 guns, two separate shooting platforms, and multiple camera angles all set-up in the room. So this was a well-coordinated attack.
What this nation has been through the past few years…all the natural disasters…the terrorist attacks in Orlando, San Bernandino, and others…a near mass assassination of Congressmen…a divisive election that seemingly has no end and is now spilling over into all aspects of culture that used to unite us…and now this.
