Former FBI Director James Comey told “Late Show” host Stephen Colbert that he knows details about the ongoing Russia probe that haven’t been disclosed publicly yet.
Comey sat down for an interview with the late-night comedian on the day his memoir, A Higher Loyalty: Truth, Lies, and Leadership,” hit bookshelves.
Colbert asked Comey if there are “things that you know about the Russian investigation … that we haven’t learned yet?”
Comey said “yes,” but did not provide additional details.
“I had to have my book reviewed by the FBI to make sure it didn’t include classified information or any sensitive investigative information, so its not in the book and I can’t talk about it,” Comey said.
