Former deputy FBI director Andrew McCabe reportedly wrote memos detailing his interactions with President Trump during his time at the bureau, the Associated Press reported Saturday.
McCabe, who was fired by Attorney General Jeff Sessions on Friday, reportedly kept memos similar to those written by former FBI Director James Comey.
Comey had also written documents detailing his conversations and meetings with Trump.
McCabe served as acting head of the FBI in the weeks after Trump fired Comey.
McCabe is claiming that he was fired as part of an effort to undermine special counsel Robert Mueller’s probe into Russian election interference.
