Special counsel Robert Mueller has asked the House Intelligence Committee to turn over the testimony President Trump’s former adviser Roger Stone gave to the panel, according to a new Washington Post report.

Mueller made the request on Friday, sources familiar with the move told the Post.

The House Intelligence Committee is scheduled to discuss the matter at a business session on Thursday, one source familiar with the agenda told the Post.

“This has devolved into gotcha word games, perjury traps and trumped process crimes,” Stone said on Wednesday, according to the Post. “I think people can see through the political motivations behind this.”

“Where is the Russian Collusion? Where is the Wikileaks collaboration?” he wrote in a text. “Where is the proof or evidence that I received allegedly hacked or allegedly stolen emails from Wikileaks or Julian Assange or anyone else and passed them on to Donald Trump or the Trump campaign or anyone else?”

The Post reported that Mueller had an unofficial copy of the transcript, but is now requesting an official one.

Former federal prosecutors told the Post that the move could indicate that the special counsel’s team is moving toward filing charges against Stone, as they would need an official record of his interview in order to come out with a charge like making a false statement.
