    People on social media are whining about him being a Muslim, dodging the draft and his other political views. Really now, the man is dead and what good does it serve to harp about all the negatives? Me? I would rather say, rest in peace and pray for God’s comfort to his family.

    No matter the negatives, Ali was The Greatest as a boxer. Not many people can boast that they are the best and then live up to that claim. I wasn’t a boxing fan, but growing up, I hung around my father who was. So I got to know all the stars of boxing back then. When some major figure of my youth passes on, I can’t help but feel a bit of sadness.

    Rest in peace, Ali and thank you for some great memories.
