I can’t imagine her life with Trump is easy. I’m guessing like his previous wives, Melania is finding out what a crud he is. Added to that is a media that gripes about stupid things like her clothes and footwear. I don’t think she wanted the job of First Lady to begin with and now she has to deal with allegations of his infidelity. Has to be really hard on her.
I don’t claim to know what her life is like with Trump. One tends to want to feel sorry for her because he is such a jerk. However I remember how she came out and defended him when the Billy Bush interview was released and also over his twitter war with Mika and Joe. She could have remained silent.
In recent days she released a statement about her marriage to quell the rumors. I don’t know about her but if he were my husband I would have said “no” to standing by my man no matter how he treated me and others. I can only surmise that she is paid very well for her suffering and that is why she stays with him.
I’m sure Melania, like Trump’s previous wives and other women, were dazzled by his supposed wealth (I’m not sure he really is all that wealthy) and I think Trump can be very charming when he wants to be. Yes, I’m sure Melania is paid well, but I don’t know whether there are any legal agreements such as a pre-nup, which, if she left him, could have some adverse consequences for her — financially and otherwise. Maybe she is worried about Barron — would Trump threaten to take him away from her if she left him? Who knows for sure what goes on behind closed doors?
When I hear stories like this, I’m glad I never married. I know I would never put up with anything like Trump’s shenanigans. If my husband cheated on me, he would end up missing a vital part of his male anatomy.
I have no doubt that there is a pre-nup. I would be shocked if there wasn’t.
I remember reading something about her being asked if she would be with Trump if he weren’t rich and her response was something like “Would he be with me if I wasn’t beautiful?”
It’s hard to see Trump in action and not wonder if she doesn’t have regrets. I do think she is very devoted to her son.
