A new poll finds that a majority of Americans who identify as Republican believe the sexual harassment and assault allegations against Hollywood film mogul Harvey Weinstein are credible, but few believe similar allegations against Trump.

The HuffPost-YouGov poll found that 61 percent of Republicans and 69 percent of Democrats believe the allegations against Weinstein are credible.

Three percent of both Democrats and Republicans surveyed said the allegations against Weinstein were not credible.

When asked about allegations against Trump, just 18 percent of Republicans believe they are credible, versus 69 percent of Democrats. Four percent of Democrats said the allegations against Trump were not credible compared to 37 percent of Republicans.

The poll was conducted from Oct. 12 to 13 and surveyed 1,000 U.S. citizens aged 18 and older. The margin of error for the poll is 4.1 percentage points.
