Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) was confronted by a pair of protesters over his vote to confirm Brett Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court, USA Today reported Wednesday.

“You think that putting a sexual assaulter on the court is a victory for women?” one of the woman can be heard asking the Texas Republican in a video shared on Twitter. Cruz said in response that he believes in due process.

The women went on to press Cruz about support for Kavanaugh, who one protester called “a man that abuses women,” and asked the senator whether he believed the judge committed perjury during his combative testimony before the Senate earlier this year over allegations of sexual assault.

“Thank you for expressing your first amendment rights,” Cruz quickly turns his head to say to the women as continues to walk through the airport.

“Shame on you, Ted Cruz!” one of the women could be heard shouting repeatedly before the video ends.
