Rudy Giuliani: ‘I’m not an expert on the facts’

President Trump’s lawyer Rudy Giuliani acknowledged that he doesn’t know all the facts in the legal troubles facing his client.

During an appearing on Fox News’ “Justice with Judge Jeanine” on Saturday, Giuliani was asked if he misspoke or if the media misinterpreted what he previously said about Trump’s reimbursement to his personal lawyer, Michael Cohen, for the $130,000 payment he gave to porn star Stormy Daniels in October 2016 as part of an agreement to keep her from going public with her alleged affair with Trump more than a decade ago.

“The facts I’m still learning,” he said Saturday. “I have been in the case for two weeks, virtually one day in comparison to other people. I’m not an expert on the facts yet. I’m getting there.”

……..

Trump on Friday said Giuliani “will get his facts straight” about the payment, after which Giuliani walked back his assertions from the Wednesday interview, saying, “My references to timing were not describing my understanding of the President’s knowledge, but instead, my understanding of these matters.”

Rudy, if you’re looking for Trump to tell you the facts, forget it.

I suspect that Trump’s previous attorneys and the ones he interviewed realized their client or potential client would never be straight with them and would never cooperate with them. A good attorney will not represent a client who lies or withholds information.

I don’t know what Rudy was promised for his representation of Trump, but it really wasn’t worth it. Rudy’s reputation, like so many others who have joined the Trump train, is now in tatters. It’s time for him to cut his losses and take his turn through the White House revolving door.

If he doesn’t know all the facts he shouldn’t be on tv shooting off his mouth acting like he does.

Trump obviously was angry at him for spilling the beans so now
Guiliani has to pretend to be the fool. Er…forget what I said about pretending.
