Steve Deace's Movie Review – Murder on the Orient Express

Saw Murder on the Orient Express for a date with the wife, who is an Agatha Christie fan, and I enjoyed it more than I thought.

The movie is well cast, especially Kenneth Branagh as Poirot. It’s also well shot, and for those like me who haven’t read the story the plot twist at the end was compelling. Without giving it away, the movie also touches on a very contemporary theme at the moment — what does justice do when “man’s law” either can’t or won’t satisfy?

Overall, a worthwhile time at the movies if you’re looking for something to do. Very light profanity, no nudity, and light violence as well.
