CLEVELAND – Sen. Ted Cruz will hold an event for supporters of his presidential campaign here next week, according to an invitation reviewed by The Wall Street Journal.
Mr. Cruz on Thursday invited Republican National Convention delegates who backed his campaign to join him and his wife, Heidi, at a “thank you event for delegates” event next Wednesday at a riverfront bar in Cleveland’s Flats district.
“I wanted to invite you to join Heidi and me for some music, food, drinks, and fun this Wednesday, July 20th, during the Republican National Convention in Cleveland!” Mr. Cruz wrote in the invitation.
