Ten U.S. sailers are missing after USS John S. McCain collided with a merchant vessel in the Strait of Malaca.

The Associated Press reports that the McCain was headed to Singapore for a routine port visit when the accident took place. The collision was with an oil tanker three times the size of the McCain, according to The Washington Post.
