President Donald Trump on Tuesday insulted the husband of Kellyanne Conway, his most prominent defender, labeling George Conway “a total loser.”
The president’s insult piled on top of a tweet from his 2020 campaign manager, Brad Parscale, who wrote that “Mr. Kellyanne Conway” was jealous of his wife’s success.
“We all know that @realDonaldTrump turned down Mr. Kellyanne Conway for a job he desperately wanted. He barely worked @TheJusticeDept and was either fired/quit, didn’t want the scrutiny? Now he hurts his wife because he is jealous of her success. POTUS doesn’t even know him!” Parscale tweeted.
“A total loser!” Trump added, sharing his campaign manager’s post with his 59.1 million followers.

Conway replied to Trump’s tweet Tuesday, saying: “Congratulations! You just guaranteed that millions of more people are going to learn about narcissistic personality disorder and malignant narcissism! Great job!”

A couple fact checks though: Trump did know George Conway. And Conway chose to drop out of consideration from the DOJ job. He was not fired/quit. Also has a President ever called the spouse of a senior aide a “total loser?”
