President Trump on Wednesday tweeted about a former CIA analyst’s comment suggesting the United Kingdom spied on Trump’s campaign during the 2016 election.

“‘Former CIA analyst Larry Johnson accuses United Kingdom Intelligence of helping Obama Administration Spy on the 2016 Trump Presidential Campaign.’ @OANN WOW!,” the president tweeted, tagging the right-wing One America News Network.

One America political correspondent Neil W. McCabe had said on air that Johnson had told him that “it is time for the American people to learn the truth about how the British government helped the Obama administration dodge the Fourth Amendment by spying on the 2016 Trump campaign for them.”

Johnson said that the U.S. and British governments communicated about Trump campaign adviser George Papadopoulos, who pleaded guilty in 2017 of lying to the FBI.

The White House on Tuesday announced that Trump would make his first official state visit to the U.K. coinciding with D-Day ceremonies commemorating the 75th anniversary of Allied invasion of Europe during World War II.

“This state visit will reaffirm the steadfast and special relationship between the United States and the United Kingdom,” the White House said in a Tuesday statement.

Trump is determined to throw our allies to the wolves, while embracing Russia, North Korea and our other enemies.

Could this be grounds for impeachment?
