Donald Trump called for him and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton to take drug tests prior to Wednesday’s third and final presidential debate, suggesting that she is taking performance-enhancing drugs during a rally on Saturday.
Trump told supporters in Portsmouth, N.H., that he isn’t sure “what’s going on with her,” pointing to her performance in the last debate nearly a week ago.
“Athletes, they make them take a drug test. I think we should take a drug test prior to the debate,” Trump said. “I do. I think we should, why don’t we do that? We should take a drug test prior, because I don’t know what’s going on with her. But at the beginning of her last debate she was all pumped up at the beginning and at the end she was like, ‘Oh, take me down.’ “
