Sen. Ted Cruz tossed a “Curb Your Enthusiasm” zinger at Sen. Bernie Sanders during their debate on tax reform Wednesday evening.
At one point during the two-hour event on CNN, Cruz attempted to block Sanders from interjecting by saying he hadn’t interrupted the Vermont senator.
“It’s the Italian in me,” Sanders replied.
“You know, as some might say, curb your enthusiasm,” Cruz, R-Texas, quipped. Applause followed.

“By the way, the impression Larry David does of you is spectacular and uncanny,” Cruz said, to which Sanders said Cruz might one day get an impersonator.
“All I need is a bunch of left-wing comedy writers to want to glamorize it,” Cruz replied.
