Trump administration Press Secretary Sean Spicer just set off an explosion of incredulity across the internet. Spicer told reporters that Paul Manafort who served as the Trump campaign’s chairman for half of 2016 only “played a very limited role” in the campaign.
Manafort. Was. The. Campaign. Chairman.
He’s also wanted for questioning by Ukrainian prosecutors in connection with a corruption investigation in Kiev and Spicer might be trying way too hard to distance the administration from him.
…..
Wow – Spicer now describing Manafort as playing a "very limited role" for a "very limited" time. He was chairman of the campaign!!!

Michael Flynn, who was national security adviser, was mere campaign "volunteer," Spicer says. Manafort played a "very limited" role. Got it?
