Billy compromised his faith MANY times. He was a antisemite, although not publicly. He hated Jews, disparaging them to politicians. He turned from his once solid faith that Jesus was the only way, as stated in John 14:1 to say that there are many ways to God and God knows the persons’s heart.
I was disgusted by his later comments that turned our faith from the ONE TRUE Way to one of many. He lost HIS way before he died. I do not doubt his faith, but he was a false teacher at the end. Sad, but true.
Like so many of them…I could name MANY names and most of you would ban me from the thread, but the truth is the truth. I have the gift of discernment. It is difficult, because so few want to know when they have veered off track, but Paul stated that one should request discernment and wisdom so as not to stray away.

It is amazing the inroads that the left is making into organized evangelism. Now everyone wants to rush to be judged the tolerant ones and to rail against the ones who stand on Biblical principles, no matter what. We will be called to give our opinion on these social matters and many of us will lose our jobs, houses and likely even our families
I suspect it will not be long before I will be asked my opinion on the Inmates that are requesting sex changes even though some of them are having horrific results from their hormone therapy, such as rampant blood clots and cellulitis from blocked arteries and other things such as CVAs, etc.. You cannot tell them the truth, that this is the expected result, they just think that you don’t want to treat them and there is some kind of treatment that will help them. I expect to be sued by some because I’ve told them that this is the result of these therapies. Buttigieg has never fully read the Bible, if he can say with a straight face that his relationship with his “husband” makes him a stronger man of faith. His faith is NOT in the Biblical Jesus or God, as the Scriptures have absolutely NO verses that make any room for the accommodation of homosexuality or any of this gender nonsense.
There is a “gay” bible out there, which I am sure reinterprets these passages to be gay-friendly, instead of telling them the absolute Truth so that they might be lead to the real Savior in repentance. Tolerance is not a doctrine of the Bible. Nor should it be of Christianity. Tolerance today has lost its real meaning and really has a new meaning that you must accept as fact the aberrant doctrines of the lost and keep your mouth shut about the Truth. That is the new definition of tolerance.
Mike, don’t forsake or give in. Remember that you will not stand before men as your judge in the end, but Jesus. We will give an answer to Him. Once we start to cave, thinking we are giving just a little, it balloons into a much larger problem. We will never go wrong sticking to the Truth. We were warned that we will be brought before counsels and kings for our testimony, but to stand strong. To fear Him who has the power over our souls, not the one whose only power is to to take this earthen vessel out of use. It will die, anyway.

I pray that we seek discernment from God in these wicked days to know what we should and should not take to task. We need to focus on the real issues that are destroying our country, not the ones that are superfluous! THEY ARE NOT WORTH IT!
Let’s not waste our time on all the things that capture that minds of the weak-willed and the ungodly. We have better things to be caught up in. Work while the day is still light, for the dark is rapidly descending upon us, when man can work no more.Pray for my son, Jaime, and his family in Jerusalem, while he is finishing his masters degree at Hebrew University. 4 of our grandkids are there…a little jealous that they are all fluent in the language and speak as native-born, and I can understand some of the spoken, but cannot read the written! They can do both. They are all in elementary school! They are having an educational experience that few Americans will ever have. They didn’t even have to drop a year in school, due to the language, and are at the top of their classes! (Tell me how that is fair! LOL!) God will use them one day, as I know this is not all for nothing. He prepares us for what he has for us to do in life. I am anxious to see how He does use them! I pray that they remain faithful to Him no matter what!

It would, but I’m more incensed that the likes of Hillary Clinton and Barrack Obama get a complete pass while ANY republican will be run out of office. I was a Cruz supporter but even Cruz would not have made some of the decisions that Trump has made that I totally am in agreement with. To move the embassy to Jerusalem…how many R presidents have made such a campaign commitment, but never followed through? How many would allow Netanyahu to annex the Golan? None. How many have hamstrung the IDF so that they were forced to leave abruptly from military endeavors they were winning so that Israel could not get the upper hand? Remember south Lebanon? From Reagan, all the way until Trump. Nixon agreed to help Israel in the 72/73 conflict that left them seriously compromised on the battleground, but at least they won a partial victory, still enough to humiliate the Arabs. Both Bushes demanded that Israel give up lots of land for a peace that would never result in any kind of peace because we all SHOULD know by now that the Arabs want no state of Israel and no country of Israel anywhere else in the world. It is an ongoing atifada against Jacob and Esau. Yes, it goes back that far! All Mohammed did was to bring the Arabs into agreements with each other on a wider scale to try to eliminate Israel once and for all.
Please be careful to not judge everything the president has done with a lens of hatred and intolerance. We do ourselves more harm than good when we refuse to recognize the good deeds one does, even if you don’t like the man, and I am not asking you to like him, but as self-professing Christians, we need to also guard what we say. Obviously, God allowed Trump to win for His purposes of which we are not privy to. We need to pray that Trump seeks out and receives godly wisdom, daily! Yes, he needs a filter on his mouth, but he’ll pay for his “sins” one day. How come we didn’t rail against Obama publicly when he openly stated a lot of anti-christian nonsense?
I never expected Trump to be exonerated, but he was back-handed by Mueller by the way that he released the report then allowed the Marxist media to make whatever they wanted of it. He knew they’d make a big deal out of anything, even if it was a nothing-burger, to take down a president with an R behind his name. They HAVE been out for him since the days he won the election, so let’s not join the riff-raff. Hold your tongues, or you’ll do even more damage to any future candidates. Our party is already going leftward without encouraging real conservatives to stand down and not take the risk of ruin of reputation in order to run for office.It’s often said of Christians that we murder our weaker members instead of being a beacon of hope and help to them when they are going through a storm of life. We knew what Trump was before he was elected. He says he’s had conversion experience and only God knows for sure, but we all know (those among us who are believers) that salvation is a process, not a one-time event. So, all the more reason to lift the man up in prayer and to ask for God’s mercy for us ALL. We are on the brink of destruction as it is. We do not need to encourage our enemies of the faith and cause the weaker brothers among us to stumble. We need to fervently pray for one another and that our leaders will want to know God’s will for us as a people. I know this sounds laughable, but if WE don’t pray, who else will?
It doesn’t mean that I don’t wish Cruz had won, but some things that I have read about Cruz since the election that were closely-guarded secrets during the campaign, have been troubling me. He is a dominion-theology supporter. They (to include himself and his father) think things will increasingly get better once Christians cease control of government and that WE will usher in the new millennium, allowing Jesus to come back to reign. Let me tell you that this is way off from the Truth of Scripture. NOWHERE can that be found; it is a doctrine of man! Whether godly men adhere to it or not is irrelevant. It is a false theology. Jesus, Himself, will come back and destroy the Antichrist and his false prophet, fight the armies amassed against Israel, and take control of the planet and reign. We are willfully blind to think we have the power to do that, even collectively!

I am shocked with how quickly the “church” is abandoning godly principles and running to be counted among the not-intolerant groups that are destroying our once God-fearing society. These not-intolerant groups ARE ignorant, of course, as they cannot fathom ANYBODy going against their ungodly worldview and call it an act of Christian love. Well, Christian love has always been to love the sinner, but to speak against their sin, in an attitude of love. But, of course, to have a hateful attitude, one only needs to disagree with their pagan, ungodly and abominable sins. You will have a short-lived reprieve if you agree with them, unless they decide to keep you as their “Christian” mouthpiece! But you will run your usefulness to the ground the more you cater to them, because even they know your duplicity is showing and are disgusted by the fact, after a while, that you were so easy to flip. Even they will not want to give you too much glory for your siding with them because as we all know, Satan is a jealous god as well. No one will usurp any more glory than even he allows!

Obviously these guys do not actually read Scripture, but quote the “talking points” of the LGBTQ lobby, the distorted ones that twist Scripture to support their own views, otherwise they’d be concerned by Romans 1, I Corinthians, II Peter, Jude, etc.

Considering they have been coddled al the way to the border, I guess they didn’t expect to find any resistance, thinking they should be given 5 star accommodations. I’m sure that California will take good care of them, but I worry about my granddaughter, who just graduated HS. As these people move through the state I’m sure they think they can have whatever, do whatever they want, regardless of the residents who live there legally.

I felt that Sessions was the wrong choice from the get-go. While I don’t agree with the public remarks, Trump was the one who chose him. There were a lot of other better picks. I’ve been disappointed with a lot of Sessions decisions, although he has made a few good choices. Now, in Trump’s choice for UN ambassador, I really like Nicki Haley! Good, solid choice!

I hardly ever read anything news-wise. Everything is so over the top that I am totally turned off. I quit Sirius XM, don’t listen to news channels…etc. I have my son’s van, after paying for the family of 6’s tickets to move to Israel. Jaime uploaded 386 songs to his van’s jukebox, not that I like all of them, and about half are in Hebrew, although worship songs, so I still enjoy them. Maybe I’ll learn a few of them eventually.
I agree that 2016 was the year that exposed a great deal of pseudo conservatives. I’m a Christian first and foremost, and a conservative next, although not all who call themselves are. Some have just adopted the terminology because they really don’t know who they are and what they stand for. It’s easier to claim a label and hope that it fools enough people. Although I do have to say that it seems that GA chose better conservatives, or maybe I should say that they chose conservatives this time around instead of the pseudo brand. Let’s hope they win in November!

We are slowly making progress, but keep in mind that should Trump, or another Republican lose in 2020 the left will reverse everything and with great speed. We must stay diligent and continue to pray for God’s mercy, to boot. we need to keep exposing the left and making them squirm. Remind everybody that the laws they are accusing Trump are from the Obama administration and Trump is enforcing them because they ARE the law. This should be brought home for them to face. While I was never a Trump supporter, I have to admit that he has done a lot of things he said he’d do. That is worth remembering. And to keep him from negotiating with the dems it is up to us to make sure our republican reps and senators keep their word to the people.

Why is nothing said about the Clinton contacts with the Russians? All effort is made against Trump, but long before the stories about Trump there were a LOT of stories about the Clinton team meeting with the Russians to prevent a republican returning to office.

Trump has made some really stupid choices for WH staff and even many of the cabinet members. Too bad he didn’t choose Cruz for AG, but still very pleased with the Nikki Haley choice. You can tell the left is going crazy because she stands for Israel unabashedly, even noticing that her staff cringe over it. Too bad she cannot clean the State Dept. and get rid of the leftover lefties!

About time! Thankfully, not all evangelicals have lost their minds. I don’t say that Trump has not done some good things, but he has only been slightly less crass than most of the people bashing him.
You can make the best case for a wall, or cutting back on illegal and legal immigration by stating your case with a sound mind and real class.
As for his shenanigans with women, it is sad to see him copy Clinton. You’d think that while president, he could at least keep his marriage vows to his current wife. She may have been a nude model at one time, but she is way classier than he is these days.
