JEFFERSON, Iowa — It came down to the final hours, but Ted Cruz has done it, visiting all 99 of Iowa’s counties ahead of the state’s first-in-the-nation caucus.
Cruz’s swing, known here as the “full Grassley” after Iowa Sen. Chuck Grassley, wrapped up in a school gym with a stump speech and a question-and-answer session.
The effort to hit each county is important, Cruz said, because it allows candidates to “show the respect I think anyone who wants to compete in this state owes to the men and women of Iowa, to look you in the eyes, answer your hard questions.”

Ted Cruz did it as he promised.
That’s right when Cruz says he will do something consider it done.
