Former Vice President Joe Biden was sent two suspicious packages that were found Thursday, making him the ninth target in a string of potentially explosive devices that have been sent to prominent Democrats.

Federal authorities confirmed a suspicious package was found at a postal facility in New Castle, Del., that was addressed to Biden.

“Federal authorities confirm another suspicious package was sent to former Vice President Joe Biden,” CBS reported. “The package, which is consistent with the other ones sent to Democrats and CNN offices, was found at a facility in New Castle, Delaware.”

The package, which is consistent with the other eight that were sent to other Democrats this week, was place din a containment unit and is being transported by law enforcement to a facility where the contents can be examined.

A spokesperson for the FBI said that law enforcement are also responding Thursday morning to a postal facility in Wilmington, Del.

“FBI Special Agents and local law enforcement are responding this morning to a United States Postal facility in Wilmington, Delaware to conduct law enforcement activity,” the spokesperson told the Washington Examiner. “No further details will be released at this time concerning the nature of the investigation.”

“Second package addressed to Joe Biden found at Delaware postal facility, similar to those containing bombs,” a source told the Associated Press.
