Actress Zsa Zsa Gabor, who parlayed beauty, diamond-studded glamor and nine marriages into a long celebrity career, died on Sunday, Variety and other media outlets reported, She was 99.
Ed Lozzi, a publicist for Gabor, told Variety that the Hungarian-born actress, who would have turned 100 in February, passed away at her home on Sunday afternoon. No additional information about her death was available, and Lozzi could not be reached immediately.

Zsa Zsa Gabor was quite the character. She has been out of the limelight for many years now, thanks to a number of health issues, but it’s sad to know that she won’t be around anymore. She was a gem. She was tough and lived her life the way she wanted. Essentially, her claim to fame was her nine marriages. Not exactly a paragon of virtue, but she was never dull.
