Bill and Melinda Gates are getting a divorce, the couple announced on Monday.
The pair, who founded the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation in 2000, said they are splitting up after 27 years of marriage.
“After a great deal of thought and a lot of work on our relationship, we have made the decision to end our marriage,” the couple announced in a statement posted to both of their Twitter accounts.
