Club for Growth PAC president David McIntosh gave the following response to a report in The Hill about efforts to recruit a 2018 primary challenger to Texas Senator Ted Cruz:
“CFG PAC is highly confident that Ted Cruz can handle himself in any primary challenge in Texas. But even in the case of a lame token primary challenge, the Club for Growth PAC would strongly support Senator Cruz’s re-election, and what he said Wednesday night wouldn’t change that one bit.”

Cruz is a real statesman, and I believe that his state will still see him for the great asset he is. We need him now more than ever. Let Trump waste his money all he wants. He has shown that he is evil in the flesh.
