Ted Cruz lambasted Donald Trump on Monday for donating thousands of dollars to the gubernatorial campaign of disgraced and imprisoned former Democratic Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich during a speech in Rockford, Ill. ahead of the state’s primary tomorrow.
Cruz said Trump donated $7,000 to Blagojevich, adding “never once was I tempted to write a check to Blago,” Cruz said.
