Sen. Ted Cruz won big in the Wyoming county conventions being held Sunday.

The Texas Republican is handily dispatched with chief rival Donald Trump in the state with a peculiar voting process. Cruz leads Trump and Sen. Marco Rubio, R-Fla., with 10 delegates. Rubio and Trump. each have one delegate, with a few still up for grabs.

Cruz’s victory in Wyoming marks a clear trend in his favor in low population, prairie states. Cruz has also won in Kansas, Idaho and Oklahoma.

Trump’s sole delegate so far came in Teton county, the location of the affluent Jackson Hole.
