The nation’s capital and surrounding areas have been among the hardest hit by the pandemic and are still largely under stay-at-home orders.

Democrats representing the Washington, D.C., area are warning the Trump administration against holding another July Fourth celebration on the National Mall as the region battles the spread of the coronavirus.

Trump doesn’t care about people’s lives or safety. He just wants to be re-elected. That’s what all this hoopla is about. Has nothing to do with honoring our military and our vets, has nothing to do with showing off the greatness of this nation. Like everything else in Trumpyland, it’s all about Trump.
