Evan McMullin fires back at Trump: 'I'd rather be a clown than a puppet'

Evan McMullin, who ran as a third-party candidate in the 2016 presidential election, fired back at President Trump for calling him a “clown” at a Republican National Committee meeting Thursday night.

“I’d rather be a clown than a puppet,” McMullin tweeted Friday morning.

McMullin has accused Trump of being Russian President Vladimir Putin’s “puppet.”

    And Trump was bad mouthing Kasich too. Of course, Trump fans think it’s cool for him to behave like the schoolyard bully. He won the presidency. Why can’t he just enjoy his victory without beating down his formal rivals?
