Felicity Huffman has been sentenced to 14 days in jail for her role in a college admissions bribery scandal that rocked the country.

The former “Desperate Housewives” actress appeared in court in Massachusetts on Friday.

Prosecutors had recommended a one-month sentence.

The 56-year-old performer had pleaded guilty to mail fraud and honest services fraud charges in May after paying an SAT proctor to alter her daughter’s scores.

“I accept the court’s decision today without reservation,” Huffman said in a statement. “I have always been prepared to accept whatever punishment Judge Talwani imposed. I broke the law. I have admitted that and I pleaded guilty to this crime. There are no excuses or justifications for my actions. Period.”

She added that she would like “to apologize to the students who work hard every day to get into college, and to their parents who make tremendous sacrifices supporting their children.”
