A package bomb exploded at a FedEx facility in Schertz, Texas, putting more pressure on authorities investigating a wave of mail bombs over the last several days.

Officials in Texas said the latest explosion is likely linked to the serial bomber that more than 500 federal agents have been trying to track down, according to the Texas Tribune.

First responders in San Antonio tweeted that one person, a FedEx employee, was hurt when the latest bomb exploded and sent nails and shrapnel flying. FBI and Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives officials were on the scene.

First responders tweeted that the package exploded shortly after midnight, and was a package destined for Austin.
