The first boys have been successfully rescued from a cave in Thailand where they have been trapped for nearly two weeks with their soccer team.

The rescue happened about eight hours after divers began the process of extracting the boys from the cave as the threat of floods and heavy rains continued, according to multiple reports.

Four boys have left the cave, CNN reported, adding that the next divers will not be able to go in for at least 10 hours.

They will receive medical treatment at a hospital about 35 miles away from the cave, according to officials.

May God bless these boys and the young man with them. May they all be saved.

And special prayers for those who are risking their lives to rescue them. One brave man died trying to bring oxygen to the trapped boys and their guardian. May this selfless hero rest in peace and may his loved ones be comforted.
