Barbara Bush, daughter of former President George W. Bush and former first lady Laura Bush, married screenwriter Craig Coyne in a small wedding ceremony Sunday in Maine.
The two had been engaged for five weeks.
About 20 family members attended the intimate ceremony at the Bush family compound in Kennebunkport, Maine, according to People magazine. Barbara Bush described the ceremony as “very short” and “sweet.”
“We’ve been excited to do such a small wedding with just our family,” she said.

As her “something borrowed,” the bride wore a bracelet that her grandfather, former President George H.W. Bush, gave her late grandmother, Barbara, for their 70th wedding anniversary. The former first lady died in April at 92.
