Sean Hannity took to Twitter to blast the National Review’s editor following a column about Julian Assange that Rich Lowry wrote in Politico magazine this week.
Rich, if u re going to write about my positions at least get them correct, although NRO is HRC’s #1 enabler. https://t.co/G2F97ds6CS

“But Sean Hannity of Fox News has a newfound soft spot for the accused rapist and scourge of America. A couple of years ago, Hannity tore into the Obama administration for not doing more to capture the WikiLeaks founder, and sympathized with the contention that Assange was the equivalent of a terrorist,” Lowry wrote. “Now, the host says he was ‘conflicted’ about Assange back then, and he had qualms about his work only because ‘I believe in privacy.’ “
In a barrage of tweets throughout the day on Saturday, Hannity defended his views on the WikiLeaks founder and accused the National Review of being an “enabler” for Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton.
Hannity often wrote that “NRO” is equal to “HRC.”

.@seanhannity 3) don’t think it make sense to twist conservative ideas and values to accommodate trump

.@seanhannity finally, the difference btwn us is that you, more or less, seem to consider something right and true bc trump says or does it

Earlier this week, Hannity clashed with National Review columnist Jonah Goldberg, who wrote that Hannity was a”puppy barking to protect” Trump.
