The Home Depot is working with Walmart to provide same-day or next-day deliveries to customers.

The Home Depot and Walmart announced the partnership on Wednesday, with The Home Depot becoming the first retail client for Walmart’s GoLocal, a Walmart service that deliveries products for all kinds of businesses.

The Walmart GoLocal drivers will start taking The Home Depot deliveries at select stores in the next few weeks with the hopes to expand to more stores by the end of 2021.

“The Home Depot is continuously working to give customers the most convenient shopping experience in home improvement, and that includes providing a wide range of fast and reliable delivery options,” Stephanie Smith, senior vice president of supply chain for The Home Depot, said. “This partnership brings us even closer to our goal of offering same day or next day delivery to 90 percent of the U.S. population.”

Products that will qualify for delivery in the beginning stages are ones that can “easily fit in a car.”
