Grisham will be replaced as press secretary by Kayleigh McEnany, the national press secretary for Trump’s 2020 campaign. Alyssa Farah, deputy assistant to the Secretary of Defense for Media Affairs and former press secretary for Vice President Mike Pence, will be the White House’s director of strategic communications. Farah also Farah also served as the communications director for the arch-conservative House Freedom Caucus under Meadows, the caucus’s former chairman.

Filling out the reshuffled White House communications team will be Ben Williamson, Meadows’ former chief of staff and communications director, who will be Trump’s senior communications adviser.
