Prayers for Ted Cruz’s success. As I said in another thread, whatever happens, happens. It’s all up to God, and who knows, Ted Cruz could still end up with the nomination. If he doesn’t or even if he gives up, I will still vote for him in November. Maybe it’s a futile gesture, but I will not vote for that blowhard with the maturity of a 2 year old, or the criminal in a pantsuit who should be in prison.
I don’t think I can stand to watch the IN primary today I might just shut it all out and I hope I wake up tomorrow like it is Christmas morning. What a dilemma I can’t stand to watch and I can’t stand not to watch it. One thing is certain so far watching news reports is most depressing.
I expect to be in bed early, so I may not be around to watch the results live…unless I wake up.in the middle of the night and start surfing the net. I made the mistake of doing that when Trump swept 5 states and it kept me up for the rest of the night. So I’m going to try to resist the urge to check the results till morning.

Didn’t realize polls close early in Indiana. Closed at 6 pm in parts of the state, 7 pm in others. So far, NYT is reporting Trump at 54%, Cruz at 33%, Kasich at 10%.
Trumpbots are already gloating on social media.
The Republican Party seems to be intent on nominating an evil lunatic. Today, I cease to be a Republican.
The American people seems to be intent on nominating him as well. Looks like they are going to get what they want. God help the rest of us.
God WILL help us. He did say he would not abandon us. God has a plan in all of this adversity. We might not know it or understand it, but it will be revealed. Those on the side of good will be saved. Those on the side of evil will be vanquished. Let’s all be at peace. Our Lord will deliver us.

If the choice comes down to Hillary or Trump I vote writing in Ted Cruz, I agree, personally I have held far to long on to the republican party thinking it can be renewed. I am sure if Ted doesn’t some how pull out this election I will be encouraging him to start a third party and come back in 4 years perhaps the country will be ready by then for a true Constitutional Conservative if we still have a Republic by then.

I came to the realization 10 years ago that good honest, hard working people are now the minority in this country. The rest are out to scam, violate or take. This new majority now has the reins of government and will retain them when either Trump or Hillary take office.

Reading past your sundry expletives (a violation of site decorum – we are NOT trumpsters), you are suggesting the abandonment of the ballot box. In other words, the United States is over. Representative democracy has failed.
We lost at the ballot box. Among Republicans, the people (God help them) preferred trump. They certainly didn’t prefer Sen. Cruz. To enforce our preference against the 80% who voted against Sen. Cruz by force of arms strikes me as a little… tyrannical.

Myself: I didn’t mean to say that we should sit back and let God do the work. Of course, it will be up to us to resist tyranny whenever and however we can. What I am saying is that faith and trust in the Lord will get us through 4 more years of tyranny. After all, He did not abandon us during the last 8 years. He won’t abandon us now as long as we continue our prayers and trust in Him. He will guide us and help us in whatever we do.
I have said I will write in Ted Cruz’s name in November. Others may have their own ways of not voting for Trump, and that’s fine. Won’t get us anywhere, so the next 4 years will be hell. But we can make it. In the meantime, we can lay the groundwork for a new party for which Ted Cruz, if he is so inclined, can be the standard bearer. I’m all in for that and while I’m not a leader, I’m still willing to help in any way I can. Let’s just hope and pray we will still have a republic in 4 years.
