Sen. Marco Rubio, R-Fla., offered a not-so-subtle rebuke of President of Trump using a Bible verse Friday.
“Fools take no delight in understanding, but only in displaying what they think. Proverbs 18:2,” Rubio tweeted.

The tweet follows a morning of tweets in which Trump condemned Democrats for being obstructionists and making the task of security for the country more difficult. It also comes as the president has faced growing backlash over his response to the violent rally in Charlottesville, Va., including from Rubio.

Rubio does regularly tweet Scripture from the book of Proverbs each morning with the verses chosen this week seemingly making a more pointed message.
“The violent deceive their neighbors, and lead them into a way that is not good. Proverbs 16:29,” Rubio tweeted Wednesday.
