A massive explosion rocked Beirut on Tuesday, with multiple videos on social media showing a large plume of smoke rising over the city following a blast.
The explosion occurred at the Lebanese capital’s port. A building destroyed in the blast reportedly housed fireworks, according to The Associated Press.
An AP photographer on the scene said many people were wounded amid widespread destruction.
