Multiple law enforcement agencies responded to an active shooter situation at a Walmart in El Paso, Texas, on Saturday where at least 18 people were killed, according to local and national media reports.
One person was taken into custody, police said, adding that they did not believe there were other suspects at the scene or elsewhere. The suspect was said to be a 21-year-old man.

Apparently, there are 20 dead and 26 injured with the gunman in custody.
Of course, the dead weren’t cold yet when the usual anti-gun types were already in front of any microphone or camera they could find, calling for gun “control” (confiscation). First Democrat candidate was Bobby O’Rourke who shed some crocodile tears for the victims while saying the weapon used belongs on the battlefield, not in everyday life. Or something. Meanwhile, at the time of O’Rourke’s statement, the type of weapon or weapons used had not yet been confirmed.
And of course, the other Dems, on cue, weighed in as well. Can’t ever waste a tragedy. Gotta milk it for every political advantage a candidate can get.
Anyway, the victims will all be in my prayers tonight…along with prayers that the gun grabbers do not succeed in taking away the best defense we have.
