At least one woman has been reported dead and at least six others were wounded after a gunman opened fire in a church in the town of Antioch, Tenn., near Nashville, on Sunday.
Police began to receive calls about 11:15 am that shots were fired in Burnette Chapel Church of Christ, according to The Tennesssean.
The Nashville Fire Department confirmed in a tweet that the suspect was among those injured, who are mostly people over the age of 60.

Aaron said the shooter was wearing a type of ski mask at the time of the shooting and came from Rutherford County, Tenn.
Police say the shooter, who is 26 years old, pistol-whipped the church usher.
There is currently no known relationship between the shooter and the congregation.
