And to think we sent money to Scott Brown, way back when! With our eyes wide open. Well, I guess this is a good return on the investment, actually. His endorsement of Trump can only hurt Trump except for those who yearn for their very own Republican “brand” of leftism.
In the old days — for more than 30 years, in fact — the presidential primaries had an assured outcome in that I would vote for the non-leftist Republican victor. Nowadays, the primaries only determine whether or not I’ll vote Republican or Third Party (a “win” being a plurality to weaken the certain leftist victor R or D).
Voting “against” is a myth I believed until 2008. Now, I only vote for what I am willing to own if it wins. This primary will decide for me — and I wonder how many more there are like me in America?
