FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) – The final push is here. The last weekend before Election Day, and one campaign brought a big name to Fort Wayne in its final push for voter turnout. Senator Ted Cruz campaigned with U.S. Senate candidate Todd Young Saturday.
“It is close,” Senator Cruz (R-Texas) said regarding the senate races that could make or break a republican majority.
Several dozen people at the Allen County Republican Headquarters came to support Congressman Young in his race for U.S. Senate– including Candidate for Attorney General Curtis Hill and the wife of Congressional Candidate Jim Banks, Amanda Banks.
But of most those in the audience were there to see the senator and former Republican candidate for president.
