Trump: 'Disgusting' press able to write whatever it wants

resident Trump on Wednesday said it is “disgusting the press is able to write whatever it wants to write” during remarks from the Oval Office, with Canadian Prime Mininister Justin Trudeu sitting by his side.

Trump was asked about a report from NBC News that claimed he’d sought to dramatically expand the U.S. nuclear arsenal.

Trump called the report “fake news” and said a ten-fold increase in the U.S. nuclear arsenal would be “totally unnecessary” and that he merely wants U.S. weapons programs to be in “tip top shape.”

“It is frankly disgusting the press is able to write whatever it wants to write,” Trump said.

Trump’s remarks follow a series of tweets in which he suggested pulling NBC’s broadcasting license.

Uh…yeah…the press can write what it wants to write…because we have freedom of the press guaranteed under the Constitution. Or doesn’t Trump know anything about the Constitution?

Ah, but we are supposed to believe the NBC article was fake news because Trump says it is.

By the way, the press has been wrong many times on the Las Vegas shooting. Funny how Trump has no complaints about that coverage. But then again the Las Vegas tragedy doesn’t pertain to him, so he doesn’t care what the press says or doesn’t say about it. He’s only appalled at the “fake news” when the news iis unfavorable to him.

Trump has no problem telling lies himself. The only lies he has a problem with are the ones he thinks are told about him.
