President Trump reportedly may respond live on Twitter during former FBI Director James Comey’s hearing in front of Congress on Thursday.
The Washington Post’s Robert Costa tweeted Tuesday that two White House sources told him Trump “does not plan to put down Twitter on Thursday. May live tweet if he feels the need to respond.”

“I was just talking to some White House officials this morning and their view is that the president himself wants to be the messenger, his own warrior, his own lawyer, his own spokesman,” Costa said during an appearance on MSNBC.
“The president is expected to be tweeting on Thursday in response to Comey, not to stay quiet during the testimony, because he himself wants to be the one driving the process,” Costa said.

The president is set to speak at a conservative religious conference at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, during Comey’s testimony in front of the Senate Intelligence Committee. The hearing is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m.
Thursday’s hearing is Comey’s first appearance in front of Congress since Trump abruptly fired the FBI chief last month.

On the other hand I understand that Trump has a scheduled event that morning to attend. Maybe his handlers were thinking ahead? If they were smart they’d hide their phones.
Anyone willing to work as an attorney representing Trump has to be completely out of their minds.
