President Trump is scheduled to meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Paris in November, which will be the second meeting between the two world leaders during Trump’s first two years in office.
National security adviser John Bolton confirmed the meeting to reporters Tuesday, which will be held around the Nov. 11 World War I celebrations. Bolton said Tuesday that Putin told him he planned to continue direct diplomatic discussions with Trump and that he planned to meet with Trump while he was in Paris.
The president and Putin were already planning to be in Paris around Nov. 11 to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the end of WWI.
