Trump’s Campaign Had to be Asked by Fox to Stop Promoting Threats on Megyn Kelly

….

The level of hatred over a perceived slight during a heated presidential campaign is not a reason to threaten anybody’s life.

Appearing on Anderson Cooper’s CNN show, Kelly explains how for an entire year, she and her family had to have security, because of the death threats coming from the frothing Trump fanatics.

In fact, Fox News had to reach out to Trump’s campaign and ask them to stop encouraging death threats against her.

They didn’t care.

So this is now the question: Had Megyn Kelly or any high profile Trump antagonist been murdered by one of Trump’s unhinged supporters, would it have hurt Trump on election day?

We can do nothing more than speculate, at this point.

It pains me, however, to say that if pressed for an answer, I would have to say “no.” Our humanity has seeped away through this electoral process.

It’s going to take some doing to come back from this, if we ever do.
